Where The Wild Things Are

Last week we read Maurice Sendak's "Where The Wild Things Are." My little smarties were able to identify the character, setting, main idea, as well as the problem and solution.

After reading the story, we wrote able what we do when we feel wild. I made a HUGE list as the kids shouted out hilarious things. The kids chose from our class list and then wrote about it. They made these adorable Max faces to go with their writing.
"When I feel wild I...jump on my bed." -Taryn

"When I feel wild I...roll around on the floor." -Vanessa

"When I feel wild I...pretend I am a robot." -Brett

"When I feel wild I...laugh a lot." -Aiesha
